I live in Harmony Minnesota and I proudly serve the SE Region of Minnesota and parts of Northern Iowa.
My journey with photography began over eight years ago as a hobby in high school, shooting on film and developing images in the darkroom. Watching those moments come to life on paper is what made me fall in love with photography — and that passion has only grown stronger ever since.
I’m a self-taught photographer with a degree in graphic design, which has given me both an artistic eye and a strong understanding of composition, color, and detail. My style is true to color, focused on capturing genuine tones, real emotion, and authentic connections. From senior sessions and family portraits to engagements, weddings, branding, and events, my goal is to tell your story in a way that feels natural, meaningful, and timeless.
As a mom of four — two boys and two girls — life is beautifully busy. I also work at Fillmore Central High School as a Special Education Paraprofessional, bartend at On the Crunchyside here in Harmony, and this summer I’ll be cooking at Harmony Kids Daycare. Life can be full and fast-paced, but I always make time for what matters most — my family and my passion for photography.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me reading, painting, drawing, fishing, biking, enjoying a good cup of coffee, or grabbing sushi. I’m energetic, easy-going, friendly, and creative, and I strive to make every session feel relaxed and enjoyable.
I believe photography is about more than just taking a photo — it’s about capturing the real person in front of me and creating images that tell a story you’ll treasure for years to come.
My approach
My approach to photography is rooted in connection, creativity, and heartfelt storytelling. Being a relaxed, outgoing, and relatable person, I strive to create a space where you feel completely comfortable — like you’re spending time with a friend rather than posing for a camera. I believe the most meaningful images happen when you’re simply being yourself. I love when clients bring personal items, special locations, or meaningful details that help tell their story, because those touches make your session uniquely yours.
Shooting true to color, I pay close attention to natural light, rich tones, and the emotion woven into every moment. I’m drawn to the in-between — the laughter, the quiet glances, the movement, the realness. While I provide gentle direction when needed, I focus on capturing candid, authentic moments that feel both natural and beautifully dramatic. To me, photography is more than just taking a picture — it’s preserving a feeling, a season of life, and the story that makes you who you are.
