Senior Session Process
Senior year is a milestone not just for the senior, but for the whole family. Here’s how we’ll create a relaxed and meaningful experience to celebrate it.

1. Let’s Connect
Once you reach out about booking your senior session, we’ll start the conversation about what you’re envisioning. I’ll also send over a short senior survey for the senior to fill out so I can learn more about their personality, interests, style, and any special ideas they may have for their session.
2. Consultation (Optional)
If you'd like, we can schedule a consultation meeting at no extra charge. This is a great time to talk through location ideas, outfit inspiration, props, or anything else that will help make the session feel personal and comfortable.
3. Your Senior Session
Session day is relaxed, fun, and all about celebrating this exciting milestone. I’ll guide you through natural poses while also capturing candid moments that reflect your personality and story.
4. Proof Gallery
After your session, you’ll receive a proof gallery — a lightly edited collection of images from your session. This allows you to look through the photos and choose your favorites for your final gallery.
5. Final Senior Gallery
Once you’ve made your selections, I go back in and carefully refine each chosen image with deeper editing to enhance the color, lighting, and emotion of every photo.
6. A Little Gift From Me
Each senior gallery also includes a small gift gallery of some of my personal favorite images from the session. This often includes special moments with parents and those behind-the-scenes memories of them supporting their senior — because this milestone belongs to the whole family.

After booking, I’ll send a short survey so I can get to know your family a little better — everyone’s names, ages, and if there’s anything special you’d like included or any ideas you’ve been dreaming up. During our time together, I keep things light and playful. Kids are welcome to be kids — running, laughing, and exploring while I capture those genuine moments as they naturally happen. Photo Release for Public Events
For large events and public gatherings, it is important that attendees are aware that photography will be taking place. In these situations, it is the event coordinator’s responsibility to post clear and visible signage throughout the event space letting guests know that photos are being taken. By choosing to attend the event where this signage is displayed, guests are considered to be giving implied consent to be photographed. This allows the event to be documented naturally while capturing the candid moments, interactions, and atmosphere that help tell the full story of the day.
Sharing this notice ahead of time is also very helpful. Posting it on event pages, social media such as Facebook, or even in newspaper advertisements helps ensure attendees are aware before arriving. For documentation purposes, I will also take photos of the posted signage at the event to confirm that the notice was clearly displayed and that proper photo release communication was in place. This helps protect both the event organizers and the photographer while allowing the event to be captured and shared with confidence.
Event Sessions
Event photography is all about telling the story of your gathering as it naturally unfolds. From candid moments between guests and meaningful interactions to key speakers, group photos, and the thoughtful details that make your event unique, my goal is to capture the atmosphere and energy of the day. I focus on a mix of creative angles, wide shots of the space, detail-oriented images, and natural moments that show people connecting and enjoying the experience.
Each event is different, which is why event coverage is customizable to fit your needs. Coverage begins at a minimum of 2 hours, allowing enough time to document the important highlights while also capturing the small in-between moments that help tell the full story of your event. If additional time is needed, extra coverage can be added for $100 per hour.
Depending on how long your event is covered, you can typically expect to receive anywhere from 200 to 1,000 high-quality, hand-edited images. All photos are delivered through your own online gallery that is fully downloadable and easy to share with guests, family, or colleagues.

Travel & Booking Details
To keep my pricing fair and transparent, sessions or events located 25 minutes or more from my location in Harmony do include a round-trip travel fee of $1.75 per mile. This simply helps cover the extra travel time and distance so I can continue providing the same level of care, preparation, and attention to every session and event I photograph. My goal is always to bring the same relaxed and thoughtful experience to you, no matter where your story takes place.
When you’re ready to book and have chosen the package that best fits your needs, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to officially reserve your date. This secures your spot on my calendar for your special day. The remaining balance is not due until the day of your session or event, making the process simple and easy.
If at any time you need to reschedule your date or adjust the timing, please reach out as soon as possible. I truly understand that life happens, and I always do my best to be flexible and understanding when plans need to change due to weather, unforeseen circumstances, or just life in general. My goal is to work with you to ensure your session still happens in a way that feels relaxed, enjoyable, and stress-free.
